Craig has been practising as a Solicitor in Queensland since November 2006 and is on the roll of Solicitors in the High Court of Australia. Craig joined MDRN Solicitors in November 2008 and practises in the areas of family law and criminal law.
Craig regularly attends court events in the Federal Magistrates Court and the Family Court in relation to family law matters, as well as Queensland Magistrate, District and Supreme Courts for criminal matters. Craig has extensive experience with family law property settlements for married and de facto spouses, including spousal maintenance applications, injunctions, mediations and Conciliation Conferences and drafting Consent Orders and Financial Agreements. He has a particular interest in complex children's matters, including re-locations, child protection and Magellan Court cases.
Craig regularly represents clients in relation to traffic and drug offences, assaults, fraud, and protection matters, including Peace and Good Behaviour Applications and Protection Order Applications. Many of his clients have family law and protection (or criminal) proceedings underway at the same time, and it is far more practical and economical to have one Solicitor attend to these matters.
Craig is a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia and presented at a recent CPA forum in Alexandra Hills on the Legal Impact of Separation.
